FCm TRAVEL Solutions has launched Corporate Traveller, a new division of the company dedicated to the UK's SME sector.
The TMC is one of many to have upped its focus on SME business in the last year or so, though the adoption of entirely new branding and the apparent distance it is putting between it and FCm suggest a greater level of intent than some others have displayed.
The new division will deal with clients that have an annual travel spend ranging from £5,000 up to £1.5 to £2million, said its head of sales, Graeme Milne, while existing FCm clients that fall under this bracket will be moved over to Corporate Traveller – their key staff contacts should remain unchanged. Services will be paid for by trans-action fees only and there are no fixed contracts.
"Corporate Traveller will challenge conventional thinking as to the kind of service a client can expect regardless of how much they spend on travel," says Debbie Carling, executive general manager FCm UK. "Corporate Traveller aims to be the dominant player in the SME market by 2014." The TMC won some £60million in new SME clients last year and looks set to double the figure in 2010.
